Busyness afflicts most people.
Being too busy is a common reason people give when they’re challenged to make their spiritual walk with Jesus a priority. They know they should go to church, pray, and read the Bible more. But they’re just too busy to do it regularly.
Yet we are in control of our schedule. And if we feel we’re not, that’s a good place to start.
To best redeem our time, we can look for things to cut out of our lives. Start by removing everything that doesn’t edify.
Next, just because something is good doesn’t make it a priority. Just because everyone else is doing it doesn’t mean we should do it too.
Say “no” to busyness. Say “yes” to God (Ephesians 5:15-17).
