If we read the Bible and take it seriously, we know that God doesn’t like divorce except in rare cases, such as infidelity. Divorce is more man’s idea (Mark 10:2-12).
If you know someone who’s divorced, love them as God loves us. Give them mercy and grace, just as Jesus gives us.
But what if you’re divorced?
Then receive God’s grace and mercy to move forward. You might choose to seek restoration. You could decide to remain single. Marrying someone else, however, compounds the situation (Luke 16:18).
But what if you’re divorced and remarried?
Then receive God’s grace and mercy to move forward. Commit to making your marriage work—and last. Turn to your Heavenly Father for help. Depend on him for an enduring marriage.
