I write often about Christian unity.
I cite Jesus's lengthy prayer just before his crucifixion when he prays that his future followers would be one just as he and Papa are one, that we “may be brought to complete unity” (John 17:20-26).
Yet there's more.
Before this, Jesus teaches about him being the Good Shepherd and the door to the sheet pen. His sheep know his voice and follow him (John 10:1-18).
Then he says the most amazing thing. He says he has sheep in other pens. He’ll get them so they will all join to be one flock, with one shepherd (John 10:16).
I’ll blog more about this in a couple of weeks. Until then, think about this verse and how we should respond.
