The book of Hebrews reminds us that through Jesus’s sacrificial death as our great priest, the veil in the temple split in two, revealing the Most Holy Place to us.
Symbolically this gives us direct access to God.
Therefore, let us draw near to him, with a sincere heart and cleansed of our guilt, with our bodies washed pure (Hebrews 10:19-22).
As we draw near to him, we connect with him more fully, aligning our hearts with his. This allows him to have more impact on us. Then we’ll better understand his perspective and be more able to hear his voice.
May we draw nearer to God and let him influence us. As we do, we’ll move further away from the world and its influence.
