Embrace the New Year

In one sense moving from December 31 to January 1 is going from one day to another just like every other day of the year.

In another sense, it’s transitioning from one year to the next.

Just as we celebrated what was at the end of last year, let’s anticipate the potential of this new year.

May we embrace the new year with enthusiasm and expectation, relying on God to help us make this year our best year ever.

May we seek him in setting goals and envisioning what we can do this year to honor him and help grow his kingdom (Mark 4:26-29).

In this new year, let us turn the page on our lives to embrace all the potential of the coming year.
