In the United States we just enjoyed a 3-day holiday weekend. It effectively marked the transition from summer to fall, a shift of perspective from a slower paced time to a more intentional one.
Yet everyone will soon undergo a change in seasons. The Northern Hemisphere will shift into fall, while the Southern Hemisphere will transition into spring.
This shift in seasons is a good reminder to likewise shift our perspectives, to be intentional about our lives.
Without intentionality, it’s easy to drift from day to day, season to season, year to year and miss out on being all we can be through God and for God.
Now is the perfect time to ask what changes to make today to produce a better tomorrow.
Consider This
“Many today view the word sin as a mean spirited, judgmental perspective. But the truth is we all fall short of God’s expectations.” -Peter DeHaan, from Run with Perseverance
