Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15).
To see God, we merely need to look at Jesus. If we want to know God better, it starts with knowing Jesus. After all, Jesus says he’s the way to the father (John 14:6).
As being in God’s image, Jesus reveals God to us. He represents God.
When we see and know the Son, we see and know the Father.
But there’s more. At creation God made us in their image.
Just as Jesus is the image of God, so are we.
When people look at us, do they see God? Do we reveal God to the world who needs him?
If we fall short as his representative, what must we do different?
