Moving toward Christmas

As we look toward Christmas, we anticipate parties, family time, and gift giving. We enjoy a respite from work and life’s everyday routine.

In all of this, however, we must keep our eyes focused on Jesus and not on the holiday that once celebrated him.

As we move toward Christmas, we must make sure we also move closer to our Savior.

Jesus is the reason for the season. Let us not lose sight of the baby’s wonderous birth (Luke 2:11).

Let us remember the baby who miraculously came to earth and grew up to amazingly save us.

This Christmas may we slow down and focus on what matters most.

That would be Jesus, his birth, and what he came here to do.

Thank you, Jesus!
