Whether retirement is decades or days away, make sure to plan for your post-work life. It's never too early to start.
But know that retirement planning is more than the money part of it. Equally critical is planning how you will spend your time.
Will you look inward and fill your time doing things for yourself? Though there's nothing wrong with trips and leisure activities, making it your focus is selfish.
Don’t be selfish in retirement.
Instead look outward. Consider how you can use your retirement time to benefit others. Look to serve people and give to your community. Seek volunteer opportunities that align with your passions.
It's through giving that you receive the most (Acts 20:35).
In doing so, you'll retire with intention.
