Paul writes to the Galatians that they are one in Christ. Their ethnicity doesn't matter. Their economic status doesn't matter. And their gender doesn't matter (Galatians 3:28). Paul has a similar message for the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 12:13), as well as the Colossians (Colossians 3:11).
Jesus is what matters. They are one in him.
So are we.
Our denomination doesn't matter. Our theology doesn't matter. Even the church we attend doesn't matter.
Jesus does.
When we put our faith in him and follow him as his disciple, we align with him and his church.
There's one church in Jesus, and we are part of it.
All that’s left is to align our actions with this truth and stop erecting walls to divide his church.
