Paul writes that he forgets what is behind and strains toward what is ahead (Philippians 3:13-14).
Last week our post was to “Live for Today.” The premise was to not let the past hold us back or the future paralyze us.
Making the most of the moment is important, but the encouragement to be future focused seems to counter that.
Which is it? Today or tomorrow?
It's both.
We need to live for today with a focus on tomorrow.
What we do in this moment, prepares us for what happens in the next.
Moment by moment we move through our day. We must make the most of each moment with intention as we strive for what is ahead. Else we’ll fall short.
